Well, if we go by Silver Age logic, Lindsay Lohan's initials make her destined to be connected to Superman or Superboy in some way...

Cat Grant perhaps? Given the way Linsday Lohan's personnal life have gone over the last few years and the way Cat Grant was portrayed in Superman comics in the late '80s she wouldn't even have to act.

WB would NEVER make one their comic book movies an R. Not a super hero one. You can't spend that kind of cash and get the return you want with an R rating.

It would be a bad business decision.

Yeah I'm sure they learned from The Watchmen, which wasn't a complete failure, but said to themselves, never again.

Curious what a live action Snyder movie will be like with a PG13 rating.

I'd like to think that I influenced them but even I'm not quite that egotistical. :p

All I can say is thank god they didn't go PG-13 with Watchmen.

I think Snyder will be able to pull off a PG-13 movie. Legend of the Guardians was pretty good.

Do we know for sure it's gonna be PG-13? Just because it's from Nolan doesn't mean he doesn't want something lighter and more family-friendly for his Superman movie...

It could be PG. I'm sure there will be a good amount of violence and probably some language that will call for a PG13 though. Again, purely an early assumption.

Really? A hard-R SUPERMAN? I don't know about you, but I got hooked on Superman when I was just a kid. As did most of us, I suspect.

Do you really want to tell all the ten-years-olds in America they can't see the new SUPERMAN movie because jaded fanboys want something edgier?

Sometime I think people forget that comic book superheroes were created to appeal to the wide-eyed kid in all of us.

This isn't HELLBLAZER or WATCHMEN. It's SUPERMAN.

Umm, taken out of context. If you read the post above that, the person said Kryptonian porn? Which is where I said this. I guess I should have quoted directly or used one of these "^" and maybe slap one of these: [sarcasm] at the end of it when I'm trying to be.

    I bet it'll be PG13...

Does anyone make PG anymore? It's been so long since I've looked at ratings with any great attention...

I think the last PG movie i saw was Megamind, which is kind of weird to think of animated family features as anything beyond a G rating, but these are the times I guess.

Oops. Sorry about that. I missed the context.

The sad thing is, I've really heard fans pining for an R-rated BATMAN or SUPERMAN film, which always strikes me as kind of selfish. I'm guessing they were all allowed to watch superhero shows and movies when they were kids . . . and would have been upset if somebody made a SUPERMAN movie they weren't allowed to see.

Rosamund Pike has been cast in a major role in the Clash of the Titans sequel. She'll be playing Andromeda (played by Alexa Davalos in the first film), a role which will be a substantially bigger part in the sequel. So if there was any truth to the rumor she was in the running for a major role in Synder's Superman that's no longer a possibility.
