I would prefer to have this one but it's been many years since I made any models and I no longer possess the skill to go for it.
I wouldn't mind that Excelsior or Kelvin too though.

Here's a link that tells the story. Several Enterprises were part of an earlier series.

Me wanty! The last model I ever built was the TMP Enterprise back in 1980. I've been tempted to go at one, again, but my skills are probably gone, too.

The first Hot Wheels alternate universe Enterprise had red nacelles. The color correction was made before they went into production, so none got into the public, and the release was delayed four months. The story is in the link I give at the top of this post. There's a picture of the red-nacelled alternate universe Enterprise Hot Wheel.

The refit Enterprise I have is six inches long and the saucer is just under three inches in diameter. It is actually very well made and looks like a replica more than a toy.

Oooh, a new hatch on the saucer underside! Just like The Motion Picture.

I like the whiteness of the model. The original Enterprise looked white to me on TV, and IMO TOS-R version's greyness didn't look nearly as good.

They look nice, but I still think the Nadara (sp?) is the worst starship design in recent history.

Ship actually looks really good from that angle, like the classic E had sex with the TMP E and this was their 1200 meter baby

Is that model going to come pre painted? It's not too bad looking at all.

No, it will be in 62 pieces. Assembly and paint job to be done by you.

I figured you would have to ASSEMBLE it.......I was wondering if the pieces would come pre-decorated (skill level 1) or u paint it (skill level 2). but thanks for answering.

I was about to point out some added windows and details on the ship, until I saw the pic with the box showing the CG Enterprise without any of the model's new additions. Hmmm.

The box art doesn't really mean that much.

Hopefully hotwheels will release a Voyager, Defiant(ds9), and a K'Tinga Battlecruiser. I's also love to see some alternate registries, similar to the Reliant/Saratoga Repaints they did. (Hood, Galaxy perhaps?) I don't foresee them releasing ships like the Akira or the Equinox, I just don't see there being enough demand for them sadly.

All I can say is WOW!! I love that Enterprise model. But I also have no skill in model building so i will admire it from afar.

Interesting that the display sign in the background says...

"STAR TREK - The Original Series"

Somehow I can't wrap my mind around the incongruity of that...
