Wasn't there something about him not getting on with Singer, or was that also a fan rumour?

^ I think that was a rumour. I don't recall anything legit about the two not getting along.

They aren't even TRYING anymore. :p

Should this movie finally be retitled Wolverine and the X-men?

    ;)

Now kill him, Singer, the same way as in the comic.

You know it must be done.

This is pretty much my reaction as well. I know a lot of people complain about Wolverine being in all of the movies, but I like Jackman and his take on the character, so I really don't mind.

Agree. Anyone really clamoring for an Alison Blaire led X-Men movie? Rogue? Even if they were, sadly, female led action films have a shoddy history. A Jaimie Madrox led X-Factor perhaps...doubtful at this point. I'm sure we'd all like Cyclops to have that chance to lead, Marsden is solid in my book, but Cyk just isn't as marketable for whatever reason(s). I'm thinking visibility is a dominant one, half his face is always covered.

Hugh Jackman is great as Wolverine, it frankly mirrors how he's all over the MU in the comics(for better/worse), and he likes to do it. So as long as he's game and Wolverine fits the story(which he usually does) the more Hugh the better!!

Chris McQuarrie recently revealed that he approached Fox to write a bible for their superhero films including the X-Men and Fantastic Four which would have also featured "interlocking" films. He even met with Tom Rothman about it, but then never heard back. Mark Millar would eventually be hired as creative consultant. It would have been interesting to see what McQuarrie would have come up with, given the fact that his "The Wolverine" script has been so praised.

    Well now it's confirmed.

We all know there was talk of him appearing once Singer got on board.

Now we have to wonder how big his role is since it's no longer just a cameo appearance.

No Emma Frost for DoFP. At least, January Jones doesn't think so...

Jones was certainly beautiful, but she wasn't a very good Emma at all. I have said before that I would much have preferred Alice Eve.
