    Wait, what was I thinking?

If I'm assuming the Gene Roddenberry role here, I will be handling the acceptance speech. Please, the rest of you, get out of my way.

"I, Samuel T. Cogley, want to thank all of you for this lovely award. I can honestly say that the entire thing was my idea, and I did it all myself, with no help from anyone. It represents my unchanging vision of the future, which will not change. Also, you can buy pins featuring this design in the lobby. My wife makes them in her spare time. Now, can I get a drink already? And who's that hottie in the front row..."

And I'll be writing a searing expose about you 40 years from now. Plus, the next time you take a vacation to the beach at employee insistence? Expect phone calls implying you fathered an illegitimate child.

Here is the theme to go with our new Starship. I'd quite like to hear this version in the new movie. I just hope Michael Giacchino doesn't drop the ball on this one.

I'm thinking we should adopt it for the whole BBS.

This thread is more than just awesome. It's awesome squared. Between this thread and the "Spock Always Shouting" thread, the Trek XI forum is RAWKIN.

Now, my attorneys are insisting that you guys give the nuGalactica the same treatment or they will be suing the thread for failure to give me the credit for the "KITT Scanner" idea.

Hey that means we can replace the entire Impulse Deck with a "Mr. Fusion"! Just think of all the freed up space! The Enterprise will finally have room for that mythical bowling alley!

Someone needs to make deck plans of the sombrero section, so that I can see if the sombrero is facing straight forward, or turned a few degrees to accommodate the bridge/turboshaft offset.

    That's a good point.

It's offset. What you can't see are the maracas on top of the sombrero. These always face aft, regardless of sombrero orientation.

I did too, last night as I was driving home from the office. "Yes...what that ship needs most is a pair if fuzzy dice!"
