    It's so weird seeing Jeff Daniels going back to doing this now that he's been all smart and sophisticated on The Newsroom.

    It's sort of like the reverse of when his doppelganger Bill Pullman went from being the stupidest person on the face of the Earth in Ruthless People to the POTUS in ID4.

    It's almost like they're actors playing roles or something. ;)

    I think they should recast Jeff Daniel's character with Bryan Cranston.

    I am actually ridiculously exited about this. Can't really say why. I mean, I like the first one, but it's not my favorite Carrey flick.

    I loved Ace Ventura best of all out of JC's work... but like Wayne's World it hasn't exactly aged well (waaaaay too 90s, unless you're in the mood for that) and doesn't really need any sequels. But this could be interesting...

    I really look forward to this. You can only memorize Dumb and Dumber so many times before you keep hoping for a (good) sequel!
