We had fun with this sometime back, so I thought I'd drag this out of mothballs.. Come up with a quick description of a crazy TREK plot idea (any series) that never got made. Make it sound like one of those old TV GUIDE blurbs... For example.. TOS; season four.. Kirk and Spock crash land on a planet where the citizens all speak in rhymes. Spock refuses to do so, and is put on trial, and could be executed. Only a great speech by Kirk, all in rhyme, can save his Vulcan friend. Rob

DS9; Season One. Sisko's older sister arrives. Turns out she is a lesbien and has a same-sex Klingon wife who has a rare form of cancer. The Federation healh-care program won't cover the medical cost, and Sisko evokes the universal Health Care program, signed in by law by Barak Obama, and never resended even after all this time. A visiting Admiral vows to stop the treatment, but caves in when the entire crew breaks into song..the song they all sing? "Bridge over Trouble Water" Guest star...Paul Simon (Garfunkle doesn't appear for the cameo due to the fact he was totally forgotten until after the episode was filmed) Rob

TNG-sixth season Next week, on an all new episode of STAR TREK...The Next Generation!!! Someone is raping unsuspecting crew members, men and women, aboard the Enterprise-D. Data evokes his Sherlock Holmes character, and sets out to catch the dasterdly criminal, only to find that the clues all point; to him. Rob
TNG: Lwaxana Troi arrives on the ship and is horny as hell. Picard must hide in the holodeck pretending to be a 20th Century detective to avoid her advances. Meanwhile, big fish people are kept in storage in the Enterprise's sickbay. Oh, wait. That one really happened. Never mind.
Substitute rape with forced mind meld (and some people on Trek BBS claim it's the same thing anyway ) and that's pretty much it. (Just looked it up - it's a 7 season episode called Repression.)
TOS-Season 4 After a transporter combines Kirk/Spock/McCoy into one being (guest star Roddy Mcdowell as Composite Kirk/Spock/McCoy) a surprise Romulan attack may lead to the total destructon of the Enterprise.
VOY season 8- Chakotay struglling with the decision to dump Seven for Janeway, talks to the holographic representions of Archer and his crew at the NX-01 exhibit at the fleet museum.
DS9-Third Season When Garak's usual subtle inuendos become more personal than usual, Bashir seeks out the advice of Jadzia Dax, who has been both a man, and a woman. After much soul searching, Bashir informs Garak that at this point of his life, Bashir isn't comfortable with a same-sex relationship; but leaves the door open for future consideration.
