A Klingon Empire-themed ST: Typhon Pact novel, now that would tie in quite nicely at the moment.

Thirded! We got books dealing with the Cardassians and a Federation planet, so it would cool to get ones dealing with the post Borg Invasion/Typhon Pact Ferengi Alliance and Klingon Empire.

It just occurred to me: In all the times we've visited the MU, we have not had a full-out "Rise of the Terran Empire" novel, or series of same. I'd pay good money to see that!

I mean, we've witness the Empire's death, now how about its birth?

There's this fan file called Fandom Star Trek Chronology... I think Version 17 is the latest... Combines All of the above into one meticulous timeline, and then some...
Free for download out there...somewhere... But it only goes up to 2004 or thereabouts...

Well we aren't talking about all the novels, just the ones connected to the inter-novel continuity of the modern Litverse (most of which has been published since 2004.)

Are there any plans to ever do another official timeline like the one in Voyages of Imagination?

That would be awesome. At the very least it would be cool if there was a website by official sources.

Well with my new website online, I thought I would post the stuff I discovered while researching that hasn't been included in the Charting the Novelverse list yet. I forget if any of these have been brought up in the thread yet, but they haven't been added to the master lists at the beginning of the thread yet, so:

    The Original Series

    • Star-Crossed arc of DC Comics- References Kirk's backstory from Kobayashi Maru
    • My Brother's Keeper trilogy- Referenced in Constellations: The Landing Party
    • Strange New Worlds 9: A Bad Day for Koloth- Referenced in Seven Deadly Sins: The Unhappy Ones
    • Ghost Walker- Features Mahase from The Wounded Sky
    • First Frontier- Referenced in Watching the Clock
    • Killing Time- Romulan demon referenced in Enterprise: To Brave the Storm
    • Crossroad- Features Mahase from The Wounded Sky
    • Firestorm- Referenced Michael Howard from The Covenant of the Crown
    • Ice Trap- Referenced Michael Howard from The Covenant of the Crown
    • The Covenant of the Crown- Howard Michael referenced in Ex Machina
    • Shell Game- Referenced the USS Kongo from A Flag Full of Stars
    • Death Count- Referenced the USS Kongo from A Flag Full of Stars
    • Untold Voyages- Issue 2 references The Pandora Principle
    • Captain Sulu Audio Adventure: Cacophony- Terra Spiro referenced in Excelsior: Forged in Fire
    • Sarek- T'Rukh referenced in Enterprise: Beneath the Raptor's Wing

And then there is all the stuff in the 'Original Lit-verse' as discussed here: http://www.trekbbs.com/showthread.php?t=140169.

That's all I've typed up so far, but I'll post the other series soon.

I wouldn't count the Kongo references, since that was one of the proposed starship names in TOS production memos reprinted in The Making of Star Trek. So those two books weren't referencing AFFOS; rather, all three books separately referenced a conjectural starship name that's been known to fandom since 1968.

Yeah I wasn't sure how to handle that. I felt like there is some connection there but couldn't find a simple enough way to express it.

A few more links that I don't think are included in the big list yet:

    The Next Generation

    • Dark Mirror- References the Lalairu from Rihannsu: Swordhunt.
    • Captain's Log: Jellico- Features Honisberg from The Brave and the Bold.
    • Star Trek: Unlimited #4- TOS story referenced in SCE: The Future Begins, TNG story a sequel to that.
    • Terra Tonight- A sequel to TNG: Full Circle.
    • SNW6: The Human Factor- References Q-in-Law
    Deep Space Nine

    • Devil in the Sky- References the Eeiauoans from TOS: Uhura's Song
    • Klingons: Four Thousand Throats- References Excelsior: Forged in Fire
    • Millennium Trilogy- Referenced in DTI: Watching the Clock.
    Voyager

    • Mosaic- Referenced in The Eternal Tide.
    • Marvel Ongoing Comic and Splashdown miniseries- Several issues reference, or are referenced in, the Telepathy War crossover.

Weren't the Lalairu also in Intellivore, albeit portrayed rather differently than in DM?

That's what I gather as well, though I've not read either book. Just another one of those discontinuities, though it's odd that all the books involved were by the same author. The idea of them presented in the Rihannsu book is very compeling.

Correct. Intellivore is/should already be in by virtue of some mentions in Trill: Unjoined.
