Great Moments in TrekBBS History!

I don't know if it's been mentioned yet or considered a "Great moment" on the board, but it's one of my fondest memories...and that's when the board put Frank Miller "on trial" for "The Dark Knight Strikes Again". Complete with a defense and prosecutor.

 

Yeoman Randi needs to get back here, and do it fast. I miss her!

I see her pretty frequently over on Facebook so she is still hanging in there, though.

 

LOL nice one, but L had an odd preference for animal-related nicknames and passwords. If she'd re-register here she'd pick something like Hippopotamom or Giraffodile

really? I didn't know that. Hmm, I might rethink my plans of getting a Welsh dragon tatoo..

 

Is it too early to nominate tsq's Ambien-fuelled, bizarre and very entertaining posts she made in the Troll Thread just a short while ago? I've seen plenty of drunkl posts and high posts on this board but these just might be some of the best ever.

Yep! We're on the eighth version right now over in The Neutral Zone.

 

When threads like this appear, posters often reminisce about the events of a decade ago. The first thing that pops into my head is from a scant two years ago involving one Squiggy, one Madbaggins, and one James Van Der Beek.

 

Hmm, I am almost tempted to join TNC. Haven't been there since the 2002 witch hunt when there was so much paranoia and flaming that TNC was basically one big stake. Is it safe to post there nowadays?

 

I totally read that as "...flaming that TNC was basically one big steak." And now I'm hungry.

 

Ugh. That post was awesome, but it got me to read the rest of the thread, 29 pages of WTF. Still, I guess reading about christian wrestling, real life uses of the Stone Cold Stunner, and it being one of the most bats&^t crazy stories I've ever read that was supposed to be true was worth the read, even though my mind feels dirty after going through it

 

The Neutral Zone won't bite. Well, not most of the time. Not since most of us learned the Safe Word.
