To each his own. It made me chuckle. My wife, too. It was memorable and funny in my opinion. But awesome? Nah.
My least favorite DS9 ep, so embarrassing I have to cover my eyes. Still can't hate it like I hate TATV and The Omega Glory but it's not a happy rewatch.
I didn't see TATV until this past January (though I knew the synopsis), and even after buying the complete series set afterwards, it's the only episode I haven't watched a second time.
i agree with a few of the ops points. Voyager wasn't influenced by Gene Roddenberry which is why it seemed so abstract. The Borg storyline was probably its saving grace.
oooh nice! the route to the captain's chair that required going down the stairs, round the barrier, then up the stairs again was abstract.
bwahaha and they say DS9 pillaged from the best! Apparently they weren't they only ones in that game.
Yeah.. im starting to watch it all over again but so many of these episodes dealt with abstract issues.. Like all those nubeula that were alive.. the whole disease with chakotay and janeway (that was pretty anti-climatic when i think about it). I always liked star trek because it was science fiction dealing with real social issues. Voyager seems to have really gotten away from that..wandering into the obscure..
Oh well.. I guess I'm over the social issues. I like 7's individual story arc and the EMH's but the morality plays of TNG I could do without.
