I like most of those, but am really fond of Rope. Brilliantly executed and wonderfully theatrical (the costuming is also top-notch).

What a fantastic selection! Tough to pick a favourite. I haven't seen Fantastic Voyage though, something to add to the list of films I'd like to see.

I discovered something absolutely delicious... and it was in front of my eyes all this time and I never tried it before, silly me.
Yesterday I decided that I was in the mood for something porky and new, so I got me Marks & Spencer Crispy Smoked Bacon Strips.

I think I found my crack and heroin and ecstasy all in one. :shifty:

    MORE! :D

Does paying my little brother $5 to get up and make me a pot of coffee considered a 'purchase?'

What can I say, I'm a giving big sister, if not a lazy one.

I love how you notice the costuming!

Thanks! I'm excited and can't wait to get them. You MUST see Fantastic Voyage. It's a classic and one of my favorite sci-fi films from my childhood. Watching Raquel Welch get attacked by white blood cells is GREAT!

    Heh, that's great! :rommie:

    Awesome. :techman:

My newest purchase is an ebay find. It's a mens large, so it's a bit bulky on me. I was able to shrink it down a little bit, so i can still wear a sweatshirt underneath it.

My god, that's nerdy! Good job.

I haven't gone shopping yet, but my plan for the day is to buy a bunch of clothes for my new job!

Says the guy with the Star Trek tattoo. :)

Yep, Star Trek "nerdy" for 44 years and proud of it!

And if you think THAT one's nerdy, you should see my other jacket:

I think the fact that it's denim ups the nerdiness of it for me.

You know you want one. ;)

Now if i had bought one in black satin (plenty of those on ebay), THAT would SCREAM nerd, if you ask me! :rommie:

I'm a child of the 60s. Denim is second skin.

I can't really decide if I like the camouflage or if I think it's over the top! -I mean; it's funny -but it's funny in a slightly childish way -especially considering the device is going to have a place in a kitchen-drawer.

On Friday I ordered the Ron Jones TNG CD soundtrack set. I can't wait for it to arrive. I've been listening to my other TNG CD's in anticipation.

I always do anyway, but Rope's is genuinely worth highlighting.

Today's purchases: white roses, and dark chocolate biscuits. More of an earning than a spending sort of day...

^Cool -If I weren't such a geek (that I had to have the most geekish device on the market at the time :rommie: ) I'd have something not entirely unlike that! -sounds like it has a very good (flash!) camera -you'll need to let us see a few shots from that when you get it!
