Blu-Ray announcement 28th September?

    Yep, but it was way too premature. It's now onto page 6, and it's just as much speculation as the old rumor thread. Of course, this thread probably could have gone in the rumor thread too.

    Hardly. Yup lot's of speculation, but also a good news source and Levar Burton himself who went and looked at the footage. Even if it's not "official" its a better than 50-50 bet there will at least be a sampler disc. let's check back in Sept 28th.

    Does "Sampler disc" mean "Free disc"?

    "Sampler" refers to a non-chronological selection of episodes from the show to be used as a demo for the conversion to HD. It is most definitely not free.
