Yesterday's episode has officially laid down the groundwork for what is going to be one big season-ending shitstorm for the characters. Either Jax is going to assume the hit on Tara was done by the rival Cartel the club have been warring with or find out it is being carried out by the Cartel they are working with. Either way, this is going to have consequences for the club's deal with the Cartel. Once Gemma finds about the attempt on Tara's life and that Clay went ahead with it even after the talk with Gemma, I can see it being the beginning of the end of Clay and Gemma's relationship because now Clay's actions have not only endangered Tara but Jax and her grandchildren as well. I hope Juice finds a way out of this mess he is in. Poor guy has been through enough. A part of me was saying, "HELL YEAH!" when he kicked Roosevelt's ass. And I fear Otto may actually turn snitch aganist the club. But, honestly, can you actually blame him? I wonder, though, who actually killed his wife and if it is not the porn guy. Was it Clay? Was Jax right about blaming him back in Season 2?

Eeeek, I don't want Gemma or Clay to die till the bitter end. Final episode of the series seems the right time to me.
niether do I but come on if she get's involved with clay trying to kill tara something bad might happen to her. remmber last year year when she got involved with clay situation there.
As much as I love the supporting cast of the show, Gemma, Clay and Jax are the main characters and they will survive till the end of the show. No one else except them is safe though ...
I think Tara or one of the kids is going to be killed. This will drive Jax deeper into the club seeking revenge against the cartels. It wont come out until later that Clay was the one responsible although Gemma and others will be very suspicious. This keeps Clay alive and the series rolling into next year.
Is next year supposed to be the last or was that the year after that? I can't really see them going on for two more season after what's been happening this season...
Sutter is reportedly planning for seven seasons in all. That's from 2009, but the largess of FX shows no signs of abating, given the ratings. So, two seasons of SAMCRO at war with itself? Because by the end of this season, Jax and Clay will be at each others' throats. And I hope Tara and the kids survive next week.
I think they will survive. By the end of the season, either Clay will go on the run or go to prison. Either way, Clay will no longer be a part of the club after this season.
At most, one could say that Sons of Anarchy and The Shield share a universe, since the Mayans and the One-Niners appeared in both, but I wouldn't call SOA a "spin-off." It's more along the lines of an homage, however, to Sutter's time on as a staff writer on The Shield.
Sorry for the double post, but I just have to share some good news... Back on October 25th, Sutter tweeted the following: Today we received an answer as to "what to do" - SOA will be airing a 14th episode this season!
I'm calling it now - Gemma kills Clay. I don't know when it will happen but, I'm sure that that is how it will go down.
I just hope tara comes out okay. clay deserves to get what's coming to him finally. I just hope it's jax who's doing it not gemma.
That son of bitch, Clay! I know he has done some terrible things in the past but what he did to Gemma was the worst. A part of me is saddened by this development because Clay and Gemma used to be such a tight, strong unit who confided in each other in a way they couldn't with anyone else. They were so much in love. But ever since the beginning of this season, they have been lying to each other, keeping secrets from each other, and betraying each other. The breakdown of their relationship reminds of the breakdown of Tony and Carmela's relationship in the Sopranos but unlike Tony with Carmela, Clay didn't punch his fist into a wall to keep him from beating the crap out of Gemma. I'm sorry that it took this brutal experience to give Gemma a wake-up call of what it needs to be done about Clay. Right now, Tara is angry and depressed after losing the thing vital to her being an effective surgeon. I believe she will come out of this emotional state and when she does, I think it will be as a more stronger, darker version of herself, someone who fully embraces being an Old Lady and is ready to deliver some retribution aganist Clay when she finds out about his role in what happened to her. I think Wendy's return which was revealed in the promo may a role in that. Maybe she'll fight Tara for custody of her kid which would spring Tara into action. I wonder how Clay is going to explain the bruises on his face and the bruises on Gemma's face. I don't think it all being an accident is going to fly.
