My nephew's kitten, Chewbacca: CIMG1097 by shanndee, on Flickr My nephew appears to have wonderful taste in cats, even if he favours Star Wars over Star Trek!
All these photos makes me want to have a cat to company right now... I thought I'd shopped this one once... And I did:
TheSeeker, you sure know how to wield that camera! Your photos are amazing. Awesome! Beautiful cats, everyone! Some more from me - play time in kitty land.
Oh well. Guess I'll have to make do with my two full grown kitties then. Here's shot of them when they were still kittens.
Beautiful cats and kittens everyone! I miss my babies so much! I did get to meet one of my neighbors' cats...the firemen came into the complex to test the fire alarms, a neighbor thought it was real and came racing downstairs with his cat, Badger, in a carrier. He couldn't figure out why we were all sitting by the mail boxes. We all got to pet his cat through the carrier.
Cute but moody right now, the weathers finally getting better and she's shedding her winter coat and getting used to the heat.

Shimmy got attacked in our yard by another male a few weekends ago and was hurt pretty bad. He gave as good as he got (it was 4am when I ran outside to try and separate them) but he was cut pretty bad. For a few days after he was not himself at all - no purring or meowing, minimal affection - his routine was upside down. His head was swollen all over. He got his rabies booster and antibiotics at the vet. They shaved some of his face and under his jaw to expose the wounds but for some reason none of that is visible in this picture a week after the incident... I tossed my coat out of the car (to start putting the new picnic table together) and he found a little warm place to watch He's back to normal now - irritating as ever
