With Majel Barrett-Roddenberry's passing almost a year ago now; who could step up to be the voice of the USS Enterprise which Majel did so well since TOS through Voyager and I believe even in Enterprise too if I remember correctly.

I am so glad she was the new movies computer voice and she will be missed as Chapel and Lwaxana, I hope JJ picks a suitable replacement.:sigh:

Enough with the joking this is a serious discussion, besides why use just Ozzy when instead you can use all three of children all doing the voice of the computer simultaneously, saying the same thing, and all cursing at the same time.

I wonder if there are enough recording samples of Majel Barret as the computer that they could use a computer to sample her voice.

Any random voice actor would be fine.

Yeah, she's a singer, but she's got a pretty good speaking voice that could easily be from an advanced computer, IMO.

Val Kilmer. They could use all the left over sound bites from Knight Rider.

I was originally thinking Gilbert Godfrey or Bobcat, but since it seems some here don't like to laugh over this topic, I'd pick Geri Ryan, since she had a pretty stern and robotic female voice as Seven and I think a few trek fans would think it'd be neat to have her back in the saga in a subtle way.

Anyone think Brent Spiner should do it? He's got the congenial artificial voice down perfect already, and none of this pesky aging inappropriately for the age.
