There was a crap anthology series a couple years back which had an ongoing noir story within about an NYPD Homicide detective working a case on a dead watcher.

Meanwhile that Quasar stretch I was talking about involved a cosmic serial killer knocking off Watchers.

Remember Aaron, Uatu's nephew, he did some dodgy shit in the late 80s.

That was deliberate. Everett chose the name by writing a bunch of regal-sounding names backwards and that was his favorite. I was always happy that he didn't go with Keerg.

He went rogue after being inspired into "action" in that same "Trial of the Watchers" storyline in Captain Marvel.

    Snatraps?

Yesterday I finally forgave Tony Stark for starting the Civil War, after he said "No matter what justification you have to act like Ultron: YOU DO NOT ACT LIKE ULTRON!"

Is Arno Stark going to "grow up" to be the Iron Man of 2020 (which is not that long away upstream any more, and Machine Man is way too polite from that miniseries to be anything close to the same AI), or was that supposed to be a different Arno Stark?

Superior Foes of Spider-man last month...

The Sinister Six were trussed up in the back of an armoured paddy wagon.

    All seemed lost.

    A massive explosion.

    The rear doors fall off.

Through the clearing smoke emerges Boomerang.

The Thoughtbubblecapytion box reads: "Totally a Heisenberg Moment".

I await the hook but on a side note very intrigued by the processes behind the curtain at Marvel. They have historically had a bad time getting their fans to loyally support female led solo titles for any length longer than 12-15 issues. So why now suddenly such a push?

    Black Widow
    She-Hulk
    Elektra
    Captain Marvel
    Ms.Marvel
    Storm

Six titles in the first part of the year + the already going all female group team X-Men.
The cynic side of me thinks a pool on which is cancelled first should be started.

Eh, after they cancel all these books, they can point at them and say "See? None of these sold," and go back to publishing even more titles with Wolverine. Which is what they want anyway.

You forgot my favorite title in the female-led book push-- Fearless Defenders. So upset it's ending with #12.:(

You're saying that it's an intentional fail rather than morons making silly decisions?

    They're splitting the dollar.

A limited amount of people will by a random untested comic about a d-list girl.

So that means that you have only ten thousand customers who want to buy comics about girls, each who if they had the money would buy all 6 of those books, but because they don't have the money will only buy 1 or 2 of those femme-titles.

    However...

If any of these books are "good" and breaks out of the girl box, the above doesn't really matter anymore.

    What is this range called?

Yeah. I'm upset with Fearless Defender's cancellation as well...such a great book. I'm assuming all of the titles listed and still yet to be revealed are part of the All New Marvel Now branding and are being pushed as part of that. I think it's great.

I'll be checking out the Black Widow, Ms. Marvel books...of course will be continuing on with Captain Marvel, and depending on the creative team...will check out Storm.

Then why spend time, talent and money publishing them? Just to disprove their detractors. That is rather silly especially given the current state of Marvel. The same for the Post-Infinite Crisis DC where you had more diverse legacies taking up the identities of their predecessors. It's clear both DC and Marvel want to diversify their universe to reflect the current demographics in America and not just to disprove an argument.

    Here's how it works.

They're throwing an entire bowl of spaghetti at the wall, hoping just one strand will stick.

Even if a book is a fail, they can find dependable staff they can move up to the majors after the next shuffle or rotation.

I reread my She Hulk a month back.

    Dan Slott.

    It was awesome.

Then suddenly she's a bounty hunter in a van travelling the back roads of America in a van with her buddy a skrull, the Super Skrull's daughter.

I stopped buying it, and so did all of America.

    But no re-launch for FF.

I'm on the fence. My pull-list is getting a little large again, and I'm looking for books to drop. A creative switch seems like a good jumping-off point. However, as it's now only the one book...

I'm guessing they're ending the Future Foundation concept. The article states they're kicked out of the Baxter Building as well as a murder mystery, and of course...more power problems.
