Ok... the more I look at the new trailer, the more I see what's wrong with the whole scene...

HOW can Sulu and the others fight ANYBODY on that space-drill platform, when they're so high up in the atmosphere? There would be way too little oxygen for them to breathe... one move, and they'd be out of breath. Also, it would be so cold, they'd freeze.

And we don't see Sulu or anyone wearing any kind of breathing masks.

A small device fits up their noses which allow them to breath in low O2.

Seriously, it ain't fair to your future enjoyment of the film to keep watching the trailer again and again just to find flaws.

The Vulcan atm. is pretty poor on oxygen to start with, nevermind high-altitude conditions.

Eh, it's not too big of a deal. Pretend they have an invisible enviro-shield on the platform or something.

So was Iron Man, and even Iron Man showed the suit icing up, and freezing, as it flew too high.

Trek prides itself on technical shite like this. I mean, we KNOW that the platform is above the cloud cover, and even airliners today, which fly less high, have oxygen masks at the ready.

    They're bad-asses. I thought that was apparent.

One of them even has a sword. :bolian:

The movie is so awesome that it doesn't have to worry itself with anything like that.

What, like the bit in Enterprise where Mayweather falls--on a comet--at a velocity sufficient to injure him?

Or when Soran blows up Veridian's star, and it immediately goes dark?
