As I tend to do I have come up with more ideas on shows I would like to see on tv and was wondering what ya thought about them.

1 Superman turns into Batman type of show. The idea is basically that Superman type of hero looses his powers and deceides to become a different kind of Hero. Fight crime using methods that he use to shun.

2 show about gay characters that are cured but are still gay if that makes sense. The idea is a medicine has been created in a near-future type of setting that can suppress homsexuality. We would follow a set of characters who are unhappy because they know something is missing from their lives even if they have never experienced it before.

3 A show about giants. What would life be like if their were hundreds or thousands of people who were basically the size of King Kong or Godzilla. The idea is that they use to be normal size people who got huge for whatever reason and now have to adapt to this wierd thing that has happened to them.

I agree it's not a disease but that is what I think would be intresting. The idea that people are going through life incomplete but not sure how to deal with it since they don't even really know what is missing from their lives. I like the idea that i you can only hide aspects of a human personality but not erase it completely. They will always be something nagging at you that wants to surface because it's part of your nature.

    Oh, definitely # 3, Jayson.

It would come to be suspected that due to the added hormones in meat and milk products, that it finally altered some humans' offspring.

Both feared and hated, mostly by people who owned Hummers, there would of course be bigotry and violence against them.

It would be a very happy day for the porn industry, indeed.

    Just sayin'

How about a sci-fi series about the New York Giants?

Like maybe they us methods Superman shuns to fight criminals who are "cured" homosexuals that turned to crime because they realized they were missing something and thought that something was crime.

This sounds like a reversal of this old TV show:

Isn't that, in essence, what "Dollhouse" is about?

There was a LOGO movie that did this concept. A gay man takes a pill and it "cures" him. He proceeds to have a straight relationship with a woman, but feels something missing from his life. It's called Hard Pill.

I saw a bit of it and wasn't overly impressed with the execution. So I changed the channel.

This wouldn't work as a long term series. It be a nice little arc in the middle of a Superman-based series, but the concept would run out of steam as the audience would want to see Superman come back and would run the chance of making some of the mistakes in Smallville. Geoff Johns and Kurt Busiek explored something similar in One Year Later after Supes lost his power but instead of developing a new superhero persona, he remained Clark Kent, investigative reporter for the Daily Planet.

Superman/Batman is doing a few issues with the idea that Batman and Superman trade places. Batman gets Superman's powers and Superman loses them.

A reverse Land of the Giants. It'd be okay as a kiddie show or a kitsch parody, but not as a serious SF-TV series.
