I rather like that. It's nice to see the use of the movie style wraparound, but subdued so that it's not so obviously a jacket.

    Nifty.

But when did it become "Robert J. April"?

Since all main Captains have 'J's in their names.

    James T. Kirk
    Jean-Luc Picard
    Benjamin Sisko
    Kathryn Janeway

So to fit the pattern April needs a J.

I would propose Robert Jefferies April. :p

    Nice work, BTW, uniderth.

Well, in the initial format pitch, it was Robert M. April, and later versions had it as Robert T. April (I don't recall if his middle initial was mentioned in "The Counter-Clock Incident").

Of course, there is the tradition of giving cartoon characters a middle initial of J.

    Bullwinkle J. Moose.

    Rocket J. Squirrel

    Homer J. Simpson

    Bartholomew J. Simpson

I think he was called 'Robert Townsend April' in something.

Let's not forget one of Star Trek's most celebrated commanders, J.J. Adams. ;)

No, Adams, of United Space Cruiser C-57D.

See, he even has that stray forelock that marks a true starship commander.

Of course, wasn't Joseph Adama a lawyer and his son William the commander?

    Nice.

Too bad the TWoK uniforms didn't look like that.

A little too blue for my tastes but very close to the concept I had for the same era. ::thumbsup::
