Yeah there's no way you can drink a Long Island Ice Tea like that, yet alone ask for another one directly after.
You guys need a new bartender. A good Long Island Ice Tea can go down like water. Very easy to drink too many of them. In fact, that's part of the joke. Long Islands (when mixed correctly) really do taste suspiciously close to actual ice tea.
When I could have alcohol, LI iced teas were the only thing I'd drink--besides Shirley Temples. Polar opposites. Of course, I only liked them if I could not taste the alcohol, the "mixed correctly" part. Made right, they can be drunk quickly like regular iced tea, one after another.
Penny likely went pretty light on the liquor in them. But since it's Sheldon, even a small amount of booze was enough to get him wasted.
He was in Bones too! Awwww she finally said it...sort of. I liked the 43 mystery plot, was a lot like classic Big Bang.
I thought this episode was pretty good. Leonard's whining and jealousy were annoying, but he's always been like that. I enjoyed Howard and Raj's storyline, it was good to see them together again. Surprisingly the episode was actually pretty light on Sheldon, even though he was an important part of Howard and Raj's story. One of TBBT's more solid recent efforts, and neither Amy nor Bernadette were anywhere to be seen. Coincidence?
Interesting NERD ALERT! scenario... Penny joked about graffiti equations. Such a thing was shown on the spoof science show Look Around You: Ryan "Gary from Alphas" Cartwright was also in an episode of Look Around You: End NERD ALERT!
It just started here again yesterday Also, I've recently been rewatching the first season of "My Name is Earl" and Leonard popped up on that as one of the people Earl needed to make amends with (A golfer that he kept getting free beer from).
On the other hand, I thought it was one of the shows weaker efforts. Funny but not as funny as other episodes. Sheldon's bits were the best parts. The fake video and his ignorance of Leonard's presence.
She finally said it although it was in the TV cliché way of letting it slip out. However it was still sweet, funny and touching.. i've been waiting for that for a long time. I was first worried that Leonard's idiot behaviour would break them apart.. he really was kinda a jerk about it and Penny was right calling him out on it. However Leonard's cluelessness is totally believable to me as sad as that sounds.. i was like that once (though far younger than Leonard) but i also know guys who'd react the same way as Leonard because their self esteem is so low that they can't believe any woman would find them interesting (Leonard's assistant is cute btw). The other plot was funny too.. some good old Raj/Howard teamup which was missing a bit since Howard got Bernadette and a big fuss over absolutely nothing
