How about the Enterprise bridge ? How is it ?
Is it just like what we've seen in the pictures and the panoramas or is it better/worse when in live action with people in it ?

Actually, the idea that we might be able to look at this thing and not be able to sort it into a category we "get" - viewscreen or window? - is pretty "futuristic" in itself.

"So, these 'light bulbs' - are they candles, or torches, or oil lamps?"

    ;)

Apparently after the film it was dark and they did have the windows backlit so it appeared to be gold and blue starfleet insignia.

We're forgetting the other important question:

    Were there sombreros?

Another question if you don't mind... did the trailers reveal most of the film?

As in, has a lot already been spoiled by all the tv spots and trailers or are there huge chunks of the film not seen yet?

there is a lot that people have speculated, some is right, some is wrong. there are significant chunks of which no one has speculated.

obviously if you're reading spoilers now, pretty much the whole movie will be revealed before the official release.

So, the general, non-spoiler version is that Star Trek is awesome? I have yet to read anything approximating a negative review, but then, I am being very careful to avoid spoiler-y reviews...man, May 8th can't get here fast enough!

This should probably be posted in the Non-Spoiler thread at the top of Star Trek XI forum. Thanks for sharing, Tuln.

You know the red carpet pics look somewhat sparsely attended.

Me confused - isn't it unusual to have a screening, for critics, this early before the release of a film?

Don't you want reviews to appear in the press the same week your film premiers?

Am I just hoped up on goof balls?

Forget what has been speculated, I'm talking about what's been SHOWN via trailers.

My question is, is there big chunks of the movie that no one (who hasn't attended the screenings) has seen? For instance, we've all seen the Kelvin spacebattle, drilling rig sequence, the Enterprise arriving at Vulcan, and Delta vega bits... are there are locations that we haven't seen? Or is that pretty much the whole movie?
