True, and as CaptainDemotion points out, the rug makes alot of difference. Seeing him without in Of Gods and Men (Or was it the Trailer for Renegades?) was a pretty stark change.
I knew that and part of my upset at seeing him in such a clearly advanced aged condition was that this very thing might have taken a lot out of him.
Yeah, wasn't she just a dead body? Waste of a good actress! She is fab though, always liked her as Lita (so much better than Talia) and glad I started following her (and Claudia) on Facebook a few months back.
Some of my favorite pictures of Pat: http://www.fanpix.net/picture-gallery/patricia-tallman-picture-16350533.htm http://www.fanpix.net/picture-gallery/patricia-tallman-picture-16350525.htm http://www.fanpix.net/picture-gallery/patricia-tallman-picture-15315273.htm
My favorite look was during B5 season 4. The elevator scene in Thirdspace, with her just standing there looking serious and stunning, was some of the happiest minutes of my life.
The episode was 'He's Dead, She's Dead' and it was just rerun the other day. I don't think there were any audible lines but in addition to her being the body of the week, there were several posters and news articles with pictures of her character as well as a video where somebody tried to get a comment from her as she was getting into a cab. I believe it was mentioned in her book "Pleasure Thresholds" that a friend got her that part and it helped he keep her union insurance coverage that year. Jan
Bingo. I first learned of the role while on Facebook, when she alerted fans of the role on "Castle". Yeah, mostly she was a dead body (albeit a very nice one ) but technically she did have a line or two on a recording in the story. She can be pretty ribald but is well worth your time and money to see.
That photo should be the new wallpaper for both of them! I met Ms. Tallman briefly this year at Phoenix ComicCon. I'd been planning on getting all caught up on Babylon 5 but that never happened. So, instead, I mostly ended up talking to her about her stunt work on Star Trek: Generations. She was a sweetie.
I'm delighted to hear she's such a cool lady. I've never had the chance to meet her, but I absolutely adored her as Barbara in "Night of the Living Dead." She does quality work, whatever she does, but that was a standout. And, she looks good for any age.
Fillion looks as happy to have his picture taken as I usually do. I do find that picture fascinating, I keep coming back to it. Between Fillion's expression, the cadaver get-up and Pat looking so sweet it's kind of mesmerizing.
Folks who follow Pat probably know about her 'Be A Santa' involvement with Penny Lane, a program for at-risk kids. Penny Lane homes are for kids so brutalized and damaged that they cannot be placed in regular foster care. Usually, Pat kicks off the season with her birthday which is coming up on Wednesday. Here's a note from her FB admin in case anybody'd care to kick in a few bucks or help spread the word. https://www.facebook.com/notes/patricia-tallman/help-surprise-pat-for-her-birthday/511507042259164 Jan
