That picture has made me nostalgic, so I am doing the only thing a reasonable 23-year old boy living in the year 2008 can do... I am uploading old photos onto facebook.
Sorry to hear that you had to stop. I've been dancing on and off for about 11 years now. I do lessons for a couple of years, then have to give it up for a while for work or school, and get back to it a year or two later. I do east coast, salsa, foxtrot, tango, argentine tango (this is what they are doing in Dirty Dancing - VERY fun), and a bit of lindy. Need to find another pair of dance shoes though. Haven't seen mine since I moved away from Las Vegas a few years ago.
That's fantastic. I'm afraid I've not done anything more than one does at a club since I finished with ballet, but I've always dreamed of learning. It's still something I intend to do, when I have the time and the money.
I need to find a way to get back into it though. Great way to get exercise, and it's a great way to get to know new people. Perfect icebreaker. May have to look into neighboring cities though. The class on Saturdays is packed and basically a meat market atmosphere, and I'm in school the other night.
I'm wearing a crappy suit from the Salvation Army. It actually looks like something an old man would wear to an Easter church service. But I think it looked a lot better without the coat.
