    Can't say without more angles.

    Nope.

Go check out the Grandeur thread in Trek Art. That is the true successor to the Enterprise-D in my mind. :techman:

Have to agree with Belz. I need more angles before I can say I'd rather have it as the E-E.

That said, the Allegiance class would've made a good E-E too.

I don't know. The Grandeur is a nice design but I wouldn't call it a successor to the Galaxy, and I don't think I'd want an Enterprise of that class. The Allegiance is just a kitbash of Galaxy and Sovereign components.

No way, I love the 'E'.

I'd have taken this over the 'D' any day though. The 'D' was horrible...

It looks like voyager, the Enterprise E and the Enterprise D had a gang bang and this was its retarded offspring......

Well I like it, personally, but it's hard to make a final call with only this one view. It certainly looks like it's a more fluid design than the 1701-E we got, and it fits better in the design lineage.

No, I like E-E as is, but that would be a great design for another ship. Maybe the Excelsior-A or something.

That design is just the Ent-E/Sovereign class design with the nascelles and pylons in a different position, so I like it no more or less than the Ent-E, which is not at all. The Ent-D was graceful and genuinely futuristic, Ent-E too aggressive looking and over detailed.

To be fair, the design in the OP doesn't look at all like the mess that the E had. It uses some of its design elements, but stays within the smooth lines of the D.

Well to me it looks a lot more like the 1701-D, but with more 2270s sensibilities. The shape and lines are more evocative of the series' ship.

Faria, is this your own work? If not, please give credit to whoever created it.

Is this hosted on your own photobucket account? According to the rules, if you post pics directly, they should either be hosted on one of your own accounts or come from a source that deliberately allows posting their pictures elsewhere.

If you don't want to host someone else's pics on your account (which would be understandable since this is especially tricky when fan art such as this is concerned) just post a link to the picture.

I would have preferred another Galaxy-class as the Enterprise E. Better yet, I would have liked if the D had never been destroyed.

Agreed about your second point, Third Nacelle. But assuming it is destroyed, I wouldn't want an identical ship. This one seems along the same lines, so I like it. I just wish we had more of it, but it seems like an abandoned project because I can't find any picture of it besides that one.
