"Dead Man Stalking" still touches upon Riddick's role as Lord Marshall of the Necromongers but then dives straight into a "Pitch Black" type story line. I'm really looking forward to this when it comes out.

This has me amped to check out the Director's Cut of Chronicles of Riddick... I enjoyed the theatrical release, but it seemed to suffer from editing issues, among other things. Loved Pitch Black, can't wait to see this new story!

The directors cut of 'Chronicles of Riddick' is indeed superior. It has a bit more open-ended ending as well... (although it does not contradict the theatrical ending - it is just ends on a different point)

Much like the "Daredevil" director's cut is superior to the original theatrical release. I agree the same thing with Chronicles

Ouch! Forgotten already? You were just down ther
I'll be disappointed if there isn't enough of a follow-up to the end of The Chronicles of Riddick. That was one of those movies where I don't like the movie, but when I see where the ending leaves off, I'm like, "Sweet! That's the movie I wish I had been watching all this time!"

It would also be nice if they brought back Karl Urban & Thandie Newton as the Vaccos. Although, I suppose Judi Dench might be beyond their budget, unless Diesel was able to sweet talk her again.

I've already said too much of what is in the script anyways so we'll just have to wait until 2012 to see it.

Are you absolutely certain you know what's in the script?

I found Chronicles of Riddick to be surprisingly entertaining (being not much of a fan of Vin Diesel's work), so this is great news :techman:

"The Dead Man Stalking" script, I'm very sure since I read it several months ago.

I liked the first two movies, despite being profoundly different from each other. I'm looking forward to this.

Diesel's announced a 'Premiere of the trailer' on his FB page on Tuesday. I'm guessing it's a Riddick trailer but it's not clear. I'm also guessing it will go out to everyone else after that.

Look forward to it. Hopefully it's a bit better than TCoR.

Escape From Butcher Bay was phenomenal.

Okay ignore that. It's Fast 5 he's talking about. Sheesh.

Yes but money from films like F&F is what allows him to get stuff like Riddick made.

Actually, that's a pretty good thing to always keep in mind. That blockbuster piece of crap you wouldn't bother with might pay for your next favourite movie.

I dunno if he's talking specifically about Riddick when he referred to that trailer. I thought he's working on yet another Fast and the Furious movie?

    Try reading:
    ;)

Disappointing because I have no interest in the Fast and the Furious franchise, but FordSVT raises a good point.

S'okay, I guessed he would catch up.

I could give a serious shit less about ANY of the F&F films.

Though the fourth one had my sister as one of the girls before a race, so at least some money came toward us, instead of AT the film.

I loved both Pitch Black and Chronicles so I'm really looking forward this.
