..and I mean from all series, where Q made quite an impact in only 12 appearances. I still think of him (it) as an STNG character though.

    My top 3:

    1. Q Who-A slight edge over All Good Things. The episode was a milestone and very well written.
    2. All Good Things..-The best show finale ever.
    3. Deja Q-Not far down the list at all, this episode was notable for it's increased humor, an extremely will written story and critical acclaim in the mainstream media, which was still slow in coming at the time for STNG. It was poignant, ironic, and succeeded in making Q a sympathetic character.

HONORABLE mention: Voyager's "Death Wish" -This episode was fantastic, all sorts of moral and ethical questions with a better exploration of the Q.

All Good Things - The perfect TNG finale

Tapestry - This was when Q didn't come across as evil or mischivous, but more along the lines of a teacher

Death Wish - Great character study of Q as a whole.

Honorable mention to True Q, just because I find that episode really underrated. People say it was boring, but I didn't think so. I thought it did a great job shining light on the Q as a whole, before Death Wish came along and expanded on that.

Just goes to show how good some of the Q episodes really are..Tapestry left out of my top 4, who'd have thunk it. It's also really good.

Q-Less would suck were it not for Sisko punching Q. That elevated it from the scrap heap.

[LEFT]I even forgot about Hide and Q, a pretty worthless Q episode...except for the Picard and Q ready room scene near the middle, pure gold that was.

I prefer Q episodes where Q has his powers throughout. Q Who is a great episode.

    Q Who?
    Déjà Q

Q, in TNG was often portrayed as a teacher or trickster, warning the Federation about the Borg, getting Picard to realize his mistakes as a young man made him the Captain he is.

    Q Who
Deja Q (just for the fact that he gave Data the ability to laugh, however briefly)
    Tapestry (interesting backstory for Picard)

Not a huge fan of "Q", and I'm afraid I haven't seen Voyager beyond season 2, so with those provisos, my faves are:

"Q Who" - Q doesn't appear that often, maybe that's why he's not as annoying as usual. But a great episode.

"Tapestry" - the premise is familiar, but Stewart and De Lancie are so good together. Script is great.

"All Good Things" - again, less of a "Q" episode for me, but it's a great ep regardless.

    1. Q Who -- Introduces the Borg, showing our arrogance and paying off the reason Q comes to the Enterprise in the first place. I still mutter "It's not safe out here. It's wonderous with treasures to satiate desires both subtle and gross, but it's not for the timid."
    2. Déjà Q -- I love the interactions with Data. The comedy is spot-on. And the end scene both makes me laugh (Au contraire, mon capitain! He's back!") and smile (for Data)
    3. All Good Things... -- Honestly, this was a stretch. I think Q was better before Q-Pid. But he does say something about humanity in this one, albeit heavy-handed.

As much as I never really liked Q anyway, I did enjoy the one episode where one of those ugly alien soldier looking guys stabbed Worf in the gut, and there was the scene where Data turns around to reveal that he has Q's face... (that was so creepy but way cool!)

The area they were in looked similar to the place where that black alien slime thing that killed Tasha Yar was on in "Skin of Evil" (reused set?)

It's a season 1 episode but I can't for the life of me remember the name of the episode.
