I love the turquoise plaid. I think I remember your having turquoise hair at the same time that I had blue highlights.
^That was a thrift store buy too! I think I paid about $2.50 for that shirt. And hey, I never got to see your blue highlights!
Built some new shelves at work to display our merchandise. My buddy came down and helped me. We paid him in beer.
Captain Needa? LAN Parties! Those bring me back. My friends and I used to do those back in high school--back when it meant lugging around those heavy CRT monitors you could use as an anvil. You look kind of board though. What did you play? But you do have an awesome family. Excellent work RoJo. Have to say I'm pretty impressed. The build quality and finish look top-notch, certainly better than anything you could buy at Ikea.
Oh, Interwebs. You naughty scoundrel with your playful yet annoying ways. I've posted images on here that weren't upside down on Photobucket but suddenly shrank by quite a substantial margin from their size on Photobucket and the original image that I found online. I've had to resize an image more than once.
When it comes to size I usually have the opposite problem with photobucket; images that are the right size there swell to massive dimensions here. Also, I was tempted to make a penis joke, but you know, maintaining that facade of maturity and all.
You can sort of see them here. I'm hoping to have them done again in a couple months. If I do, I'll post a good photo.
Adorable?! Thank you! In real life, it was definitely bright blue, not periwinkle. Within a couple weeks, though, it had faded to lavender. Still pretty, but not what I'd intended. I'd long thought that blue highlights would be fun, and the Chordoma Foundation conference was the perfect excuse to try them. Their logo is blue, so blue's become the semi-official chordoma awareness color.
^Yeah, to keep my streaks bright I re-dyed them every two weeks or so, especially with true blue, purple, and pink. One of the things I liked a lot about the turquoise (Manic Panic brand Atomic Turquoise, BTW) was that it barely faded, and even faded it stayed turquoise.
Is that a framed picture of a military armored vehicle on the wall behind you guys? A Bradley or something along those lines?
I fight that struggle every time someone say stuff about "coming" or that they could come. My brother constantly loses that struggle, on purpose I might add
