Can anyone tell me how big the Borg ship model was for BOBW? I am thinking about trying to build my own model using "model trees" and want to get the scale right. Was there even a full sized model done? If anyone has any links with info or pics of it in the process of being built or even in a regular room so I can see what it should look like in a person that would be nice...

I believe the model was about three feet. One side had a big hole in it for the cables to go into to light it.

According to Memory Alpha, there was a 2' model, which was built & blown up for BOBW-II and they built a better looking, yet much smaller model for FC.

That, in addition to the original 3 footer.

I assumed they built a separate section for the doors. In fact, weren't they the Dyson Sphere doors redressed?

Im mostly thinking about the BOBW version. Personally I think its the best version and really dont like the look of the First Contact cube.

I was talking about the BoBW Cube as well. i have a photo of it somewhere. One side of the Cube only had the edges done, leaving a big hole for all the electronic cabling.

In the book MAKING OF DEEP SPACE NINE there is a pic of the cube model used for the pilot, with person standing next two it. Looked three feet to me

I had found a pic a while back by doing a Google image search 'Best of Both Worlds Borg model' or shooting model, don't remember which, but I did see a pic. Don't have time to look it up right now, but you can try it.

FYI: using scrap parts is how the original Galactica was built as well
