From the preview, I can tell they did an excellent job with Q. Perfect wit and sarcasm, I swore I can hear DeLancie talking!

I've read issue #36 and it's pretty good.

There's a ton going on here. Q, Sisko, and alternate timelines of alternate timelines. Craziness.

    BTW Cool blog dude.

I'm trying to get my art out there as well. Zeus Is Dead is a well designed cover.

Thank you so much! I wish I had more time to write, but with the podcasts and work, it's tough to find the time.

Not to derail the thread, but if you need any art, I do a little something. Not my job, but I do free side projects just for fun.

We talked about this on Literary Treks a lot in the upcoming episode and I am feeling that we are firmly in the future of the JJ'verse and not in the prime universe.

Short review: A disappointing story so far, much like the previous Apollo story. There's so much fanwankery that it feels more like fan fiction.

^ Hmmm..... I would say this is a great series so far. It's picking up on some ideas from the prime universe, Weyoun talking about earth being the place where a rebellion would most likely start. Also Martok talking about how the Klingons never attacked earth, but clearly they have in this timeline. To me it is nice to have no idea where this is going, fun! Cool to see them have all the toys in the toy box and take them anywhere.

Don't get me wrong. I think it's great others are enjoying this arc. It's just not for me. My opinion is a reflection of my tastes, no one else's.

Fun issue. Reasonable pacing. Longer stories are soooo much better.

Did women play a significant role? The previews only feature men (except for Uhura giving reports in dire scenes).

Hope it's not too much of a spoiler (#*$^%#$ spoiler tags!), but Keiko is shown at least temporarily in the command chair of the NuDefiant. Nothing else so far though, although I can't imagine we won't see Kira.

An alternate universe Defiant, cool! :bolian: Also, nice to see Keiko. Kira is on the cover of an upcoming issue.

Just fair warning; most of the "set" depictions of DS9 and the Defiant and such look the way we're used to seeing; no real JJverse redesign of the bridge/ops or anything.

Seeing as how this is a series whose art relies heavily on poorly-researched reference as opposed to creating setting-appropriate materials (see: the proliferation of LCARS displays), I'm not surprised. :)
