Vote...for the ones you're looking forward to the most Anyone who picks WiiMusic or Tom Clancy's Whatever will be taken out the back door, where men with dark suits, sunglasses, and black cars with tinted windows await.
There is now a poll. It took me some time :P Hopefully I havent forgotten anything...I used two separate release lists, so it should be fairly comprehensive.
I voted for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, FIFA 09, Rock Band 2, Guitar Hero World Tour, Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3, Dead Space and Mirror's Edge as those are the ones are will almost certainly be buying. I am also going to go for WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2009 and Football Manager 2009. None, of course, surpass next year's biggest game - Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2.
Voted Fable 2 and Fallout 3, because I'm definitely buying them and I think they'll be something special. Also Mirror's Edge, because it looks like the freshest take on the FPS genre since HL2. Fresher, even. I will be getting Force Unleashed, but to be honest I have a bad feeling about it, so I didn't vote.
What are we voting for? Which will be the best? Which ones we want? The game we think will be popular?
Shit, I forgot Fable 2, I have pre-ordered all the ones I voted for and Fable 2. I'm also going to be interested in seeing what Gears of War 2, Mirrors Edge, Silent Hill 5, Red Faction: Guerilla, Star Wars Force Unleashed and Lightsaber Duels are like.
Not that i look forward to games but if i was going to get any game on that list it would be The force unleashed. And i just got a pile of PS3 games so i wont be buying any more for some time and i don't want to be in the same situation as i was before with the 360 were i just kept buying games and did not get round to playing half of them. Buying games for the 360 was like having a addiction at one point.
LittleBigPlanet for PS3. Wipeout HD and Heavy Rain for PS3 also, except that one isn't on the list and the other isn't likely to arrive in 2008. Mirror's Edge and C&C:RA3 too, but I'll pick those up on PC.
D'oh, I missed the console part. C&C:RA3, Dead Space, FM2009 and Mirror's Edge are going to be PC purchases for me.
Other than Tales of Vesperia, I have little or no interest in these games. Maybe Mega Man 9 for nostalgia factor, but the current era of games have just seemed to have "lost" something.
I agree, I'm far more interested in a lot more games this generation than I have been for at least the last 2.
