Does this just have to be current actors/personalities or can it be ones that are older or are gone now as well? EDIT: Crap. Just realized, I resurrected an older thread. Sorry, Mods! *walks away quietly with sheepish embarrassment on the ol' face*
Actually, since this is a sticky I don't think it counts as reviving an old thread. As for you're question, this all fantasy casting being done for fun, so I don't think it matters. Cast away.
^ Yeah, it's all casting of characters highly unlikely to be televised. That's especially the case with casting characters in fan-fiction. For example, two of my fan-fiction are "played" by actresses as they appeared when they went into acting, but are now near or past 40 years old.
For Naraht and K's't'lk I would cast Nick Frost and Jessica Hynes respectively, if only because of their association with nuScotty, Simon Pegg...
Dr. Hugh Cambridge: Hugh Laurie. I've never watched House, but from the moment I started reading Cambridge's lines, Laurie was my image of him.
He was also in the Kirsten Beyer's head . She has mentioned this in various interviews as well as right here at the trekBBS
Hugh Laurie's brief appearance on "Friends". Not as recognizable without the five o'clock shadow. I caught the ending credits of that episode of "Friends" and saw "Hugh Laurie as Gentleman on Plane." I couldn't picture him, but sure enough once I found that clip.
I wondered out loud in the Photoshop thread if anyone could put Laurie inside a DS9-era sciences uniform, and J. Allen came through.
Typhon Pact: Zero Sum Game Julian Bashir: Alexander Siddig Sarina Douglas: Faith Salie Captain Ezri Dax: Nicole deBoer Commander Sam Bowers: Roger Cross Lieutenant Lonnoc Kedair: Lena Headey Lt. Com. Gruhn Helkara: ? Lieutenant Mikaela Leishman: ? Dr. Simon Tarses: Spencer Garrett Nar: Rachel Nichols L'Haan: From her roles in The OC and now in Nikita, I picture Melinda Clarke in this role President Nan Bacco: Jacqueline Brookes
OMG I love Melinda Clarke as L'Hann. I've been a big fan of her since I first saw her as Lady Heather on CSI.
I'm fairly certain L'Haan is supposed to be black, actually. I usually picture Gina Torres. Hm. I'm not very familiar with her work -- does she have that sharp, biting wit that Bacco is supposed to have?
