You have the right to a sombrero. If you cannot afford a sombrero, one will be appointed to you by the state.

Sombreros reach another revival of a 60s sci-fi show.

    Fucking awesome. :guffaw:

Shit, looks like I'm going to have to unlock a new parody from my comedy drawer. I've got a few ideas and some time in the week.

    I'll be back

You look almost exactly the way I pictured you, though I figured you'd have darker eyes.

I didn't post it there. If someone else wants to post it (with a link back to this page), be my guest. It's designed for here, though. A lot of the jokes wouldn't make sense outside of this thread. (Then again, nothing in this thread makes a lick of sense to begin with. :p)

It was in a Comic-Con cosplay gallery at Action-Figure.com, though it's obviously not from within Comic-Con itself. Perhaps it's somewhere near the convention center. I thought of this thread as soon as I saw it. ;)

A donut with googly-eyes and a mustache would be enough.

But the sombrero makes it golden, doughy goodness. With sprinkles. :techman:

That's not me, but I did pose for a photo with him. How could I not? And, yes, I was wearing my sombrero at the time. Duh!

He was across the street from the convention center, wandering around in front of a restaurant called the Tin Fish.

Also in front of the Tin Fish (and next to Sombrero Donut Man) was the new attack mode version of the car from the new Knight Rider. I posed in front of the car and was mocked publically by a disembodied voice doing its best to sound like Val Kilmer.

Is it actually possible to quote an avatar? I just copied the image address, then quoted Gep Malakai's post, erased the text, and pasted in the image. (It took longer to explain than to do.) Is there a "real" way to quote an avatar?

By the way, is somebody saving these Sombrero avatars? Otherwise they're all lost as soon as the user changes their avatar to something else. It would be a shame if all of the Sombrero images in the thread are saved for posterity but the avatars are lost.
