Okay I've got it figured, that gal was a Terminator, so obviously they're dealing with a Skynet plot.

It's Catherine Weaver just 40 years older :P

sounds like a technique House would try. Eating Chinese while watching sponge bob with a cow over your shoulder :wtf:

Looks like they stole a "I robot" arm for that lady. That office looked like it came from the 22nd century

I give this episode an "Above Average". I'm intrigued by the bigger arc that's being developed (with the company and the "Pattern").

I liked it, it's a keeper, which means it will probably be canceled...
Until then I'll continue to watch.

This needs to be paired with Terminator and make a nice night of Sci-Fi.
They would probably help each other ratings wise as well.

They should have gone with Dharma instead of Massive Dynamic. :p

By the way, here's their website.

I voted Above Average. I wasn't too interested in the entire scientific aspect of the show until halfway through. I found the dynamics between Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson, John Noble, and Lance Riddick to be far more interesting. The show has potential and I'm looking forward to watching more.

Wow. The line between reality and mediocre t.v. shows gets blurrier all the time.

It was okay. Not sure I can stomach Joshua Jackson every week, though.

Also, somebody needs to be wearing fringe...I think.

A couple things that annoyed me...

    - our heroine just HAD to be in her underwear? Yeah, OK.

    - The lab assistant sure seemed pretty willing to go through all that stuff (ordering a cow without having a cow???)...is she an X-Files fanatic or something?

    - the boyfriend seemed to heal at a STar Trek pace!

i am sure there's more...but that stuck out at me.

Average. It held my interest but didn't blow me away. And some things were downright annoying. Peter's constantly insulting quips to his father got old fast. And would anyone really let a seemingly dangerous lunatic they've only known a day or two put a needle in their brain? Really? I find that pretty hard to believe. The only character I find even remotely interesting is Noble's.

I'll give it a couple more episodes, but unless enough other aspects of the show can hook me, I can't see myself wasting years watching the "Pattern" slowly unfold.

Maybe it ties into "LOST". Maybe all the people on the plane had the diesease and it was shot at and went down. Then they landed on the island, which will later be connected with another new JJ series.

    Or maybe not.

I thought it was okay. It really started grabbing my attention in the last 30 minutes. The twist was unexpected and welcome though I'm sorry to see Mark Valley go. He never seems to get steady work.

So far, I don't think this show is living up to the new X-Files type, though it has set up some potentially interesting plots. I'm thinking about checking out the encore on Sunday and giving it another shot before I pass final judgment.

    Yeah, I noticed that too.

Above Average, I'll give it a chance to completely hook me. I see that they're going with a developing mystery, but we'll have to see if I'll continue to watch it.
