I agree Kosh, Boyd was really torn about that. He knew the man had more faith than he ever would and was sorry to see him go down. The scene with the multiple snake strikes was one of the most "oh God No!" scenes I have watched in recent memory and was more horrific than anything on American Horror Story.
I thought all the snake scenes were a bit silly. Espeically when the lackey got chewed up. I kind of figured ahead of time that's where it was going and it was just so damned hokey. Nothing about Season 4 is doing much for me right now.
Robbery or kidnapping? I'm not sure. I thought Lindsey owned the bar, but further checking tells me I was wrong about that, so maybe she did just rip off Raylan, I don't know.
^ I guess we shall see. Yoda, this season does seem very unfocused, so far. We have the mystery as a back-burner story but nothing so far has as compelling as last season or the season before. They haven't really latched on to anything yet.
^My attention has wandered quite a bit while watching, so I'm not even sure I'm really following the mystery too well. A guy faked his death to get away from... a drug cartel? Arlo stole some drugs off the body from the faked death that just so happened to land on his street... or something? And for some reason a random dude knew way too much at prison and overheard him? And somehow an FBI agent got caught up in all this and decided to kill himself? Yeah, I think I'm lost here. Not sure what the mystery is at this point, and I sure don't care about it
Ellie May is dumb as a box of rocks. I saw her fate coming from a mile away, but I didn't expect that ending. I thought the thug would chicken out, as he looked pretty sad about it.
Have to say I was surprised the preacher didn't last longer. Sort of a relief though. The seasonal villain thing has been played out on the show.
I know the henchmen had just snorted something, but why was he waving that gun around like that? Idiot. I thought Ellie Mae was a goner. Perhaps the lights are not as dim in that house as they appear to be? I think I am a little tired of Raylan, but Art cracks me up. I find that I enjoy the other characters a lot more than the main on Justified.
^Oh, I don't know about that. I like the banter that Raylan has with the various idiots he comes in contact with. I also love the way the agents talk to each other. I'm really interested to see if Ellie Mae wised up (finally) and legged it or if something else happened.
i know what you mean. Raylan seems a little off at the moment... still badass but not as much as usual
That is an excellent point. I kept thinking that the preacher's sister was not going to go down without a fight. That is one church lady that Boyd should watch out for. Boyd may have taken out the mouthpiece, but I don't think he got the brains of the operation. (That being said- I felt bad for the religious duo.) Boyd has taken everything from her.
Huh. Didn't see that one coming. I LOVE Jim Beaver; I'm glad the sheriff will have a bigger storyline. Great to see Constable Bob again; I can't get enough of Patton Oswalt.
