    Did everyone see the news back on the 1st? Enterprise was finally inactivated and on the way to be scapped.:(

    I believe he's referring to the aircraft carrier Enterprise.
    My brother served on the 'Big E' for a while when he was in the Navy. He's bummed to see it go, but at the same time he said the more modern ships are much less cramped.

    Yes, of course! Five years before the first ST television show even hit the airwaves, that ship was commissioned and is only now being taken offline. Hasn't it decorated the wall of the captain's office in all but the first show?

    I want a Enterprise wall display with all of the Enterprises from the US Navy, Space Shuttle and Star Trek. Including the future CVN-80.
