The great thing about this topic is that I don't have to change my avatar to enter the contest.

As I'm sure both Aussies and Kiwis will adamantly insist, Australia and New Zealand are two completely different and separate countries, with over 900 miles of open ocean between them. Hell, they even speak English with different accents.

    Anyway, here's my entry: Boomerangs!

I am not going to vote for anything Collingwood. I am a one-eyed Richmond supporter.

The Sydney Opera House, probably one of the most recognizable buildings in the world. When I hear "Sydney," I think of it, the water and the bridge. Just lovely.

I believe that two older Australians are the only people on this board can say that they saw AC/DC perform live with Bon Scott as lead singer. I am one of them and I saw them when I was 17 in 1975. I also saw their first, and every other performance , on the Australian show, Countdown.

Sorry for posting it 1 1/2 hours too late - my [insert un-ladylike swearwords here] internet connection broke down again.
I live in a rather old house with lines that are too weak for several internet connections at a time. Whenever several of my neighbours go online, I get thrown offline and vice versa.
