Wasn't it about a year or so ago there was news that B5 would be re-released in DVD sets that didn't have the format inconsistencies of the original release? And they would be more reasonably priced? I'm dying to get this series on DVD to stand alongside my treasured original TOS DVD sets we got a couple of years ago. Although B5 was hit-and-miss in its 5th season as well as the early part of it's first I really loved the series and would love to revisit it again. It's a damned shame SPACE here in Canada doesn't syndicate again instead of all the crap they've been airing the past few years. I was once so excited about this network when it first debuted, but now they so rarely have anything of interest for me. And on another note, wasn't 1st season Earth Final Conflict ever released on DVD?
Haven't heard anything about that. It's been out in region 2 for a while. Region 1 gets it in a few months. No word on season 2 yet.
I don't know of any expected re-release of B5 unless the region 2 set that includes (iirc) all 5 seasons, Crusade, the TV movies and possibly even TLT can be considered a re-release. Certainly I never heard of any format change. As for reasonable price, I've seen a number of stores where the series has been on sale for about $20 per season. Jan
Nope, sorry. What we have is all we'll get in the foreseeable future. You haven't mentioned what DVD region you are in (usually a good idea to mention), but here in R1 there has been NO news about a repackaged edition. *edit*
