heh.. I'm always checking the background before taking photos myself.. that said I once posted a photo of my desk in Misc, horrifyingly messy. I don't think anyone bested it.

Yep. It was written in stone that I'll always live here. I'm the middle of six children I have to stay here.

Not that I'm complaining. I just miss Chicago. It snowed there. I love snow.

 

Oh I just google imaged Redding, it looks very pretty! But I know how deceptive that can be, LOL.

I don't miss snow AT ALL. But I would miss living near a big city.

 

Whoa, disappear for a few hours and I don't even know where we are anymore!

So... you guys realize KM's originally from Iowa, right? I'm just saying. I'm pretty sure that's the only style of home decor that she knows!

Also, those framed pictures of... whoever that is in the background scare the hell out of me.

(Man, these pictures bring back bad memories of when my own mother went through her "'90s Americana" phase. Thankfully she snapped out of it.)

 

Why do they scare you?

 

Oh, I love snow. Love it.

Redding's nice. There are areas that are trash. There are areas that are very nice. But we're trying to be San Francisco and it's driving me crazy. The bad Bay Area driver's have even started to infest town.

Oh, and we spent 7 million dollars on a "sundial bridge" that only works one day a year and is not very pretty. *facepalm*

I miss city life too. And the hubby wants to be able to do surgeries a lot more often again so we may move, but we've been saying that for two years now.

I understand. I wish that KM at Home photoshoot had pictures of the kitchen. 'Cause I'm wanting to know if it's full of wooden apples and rooster stuff.

 

The kitchen stuff is just.. prolific.

 

I dunno. Something about old black and white pictures creeps me out. Must be too many horror movies or something.

OMG, I bet her kitchen has ceramic cow-shaped salt and pepper shakers, too.

 

We have pigs.

My mother has roosters.
