I saw this trailer on YouTube. It doesn't look too bad to me. But I cannot find a thing about the movie such as a release date etc. Can anyone tell me anything about it?

Well, I found this on Wikipedia. It is UK production that came out in December or 2012. Not sure if it will get a US release.

Jean-Claude Van Dame as Ed Straker (the former astronaut with claustrophobia), with the correct white wig they could pull it off.

LOL, the trailer is funny. Random "stereotype aliens attack Earth" scifi with me wondering "why are humans fighting humans" in this? And then: "Oh look, Van Damme!"

 

Well, Stryker would be a good name for him...

 

It isn't the Asylum crap that's for sure. While it might not be a Grade A Hollywood movie, I love alien invasion films so I will give this one a shot...if I can find it!!!

 

As long as his first name was Ted, of course.

 

The Anderson UFO as feature has been in development for forever. A really good miniature effects guy I've interviewed several times is to direct it if it happens, and I think it'll be what folks hoped THUNDERBIRDS would be ... again, assuming it ever actually gets made.
The Mcdonough casting notion is out of sight great, the guy needs more work, and good writing. He was great in BOOMTOWN.
