Mother Teresa must be added to the Sombreroprise. Then...and ONLY THEN...will the ship be officially canonized.

This thread has now reached the evolutionary stage where it should rightfully be taught in American schools. Degrees in Sombrerology will one day be handed out by institutes of higher learning. Mark my words.

And of course Captain Robau will be the Dean of Sombrerology.

There's been some truly epic stuff in here. I just got caught up with the past year or so. One of my favorites is the Doctor Who "Parting of the Ways" parody.

I'm a little surprised that there hasn't been an animated Trek XI sombrerification like The Undiscovered Sombrero and the others yet. The scene on the bridge where Kirk and the others brainstorm their crazy plan might be a good choice.

Some other suggestions for things in need of sombreros:

    Alien xenomorph
Doc Brown from Back to the Future
    Pumbaa from The Lion King
    Neytiri from Avatar
    Dragon Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty
    Indiana Jones and his father

^ No, don't give sombreros to the Na'vi. Quaritch, on the other hand...that man needs a sombrero, like yesterday.

Besides, in a very real sense, the Na'vi already have blue "warp nacelles". :D

If they clone him for the second film (like Stephen Lang once suggested :techman: ) they MUST have him wearing a sombrero.

Not the Na'vi, though. They don't deserve an honor like that. Besides they're so spindly thin that the hat's sheer awesomeness would tip them over.

Fun fact: Fans of both BWN and the Milwaukee Brewers might want to take a close look at the sausage race. One of the sausages wears a sombrero. :techman:

Okay, here it is again. I think that all should be able to see this one without going to my homepage.

Yeppers. I think it worked. The Abramsprise with proper red bussards and metallic deflector. Still not as awesome as the original TOS version, but it's gettin' there.

PS: Sorry about derailing the sombrero topic.:)
