    Holding out hope...but man if it does return I hope Mendes is still the director and they retain the script they had before this mess happened. Also 2012 is going to be LOADED for films. All through the year.

    So in this movie Bond will discover that Quantum is actually the good guy and that they've been trying to figure out how to stop the 2012 apocalypse from happening?

    The Los Angeles Times claims that there were long-running creative issues (Broccoli and Wilson weren't happy with Mendes' re-write of Peter Morgan's script, which was a rewrite of Purvis & Wade's first crack at the job) that may have derailed the project even if funding were in place.
