of the lower decks officers

 

liked either Vanilla, Strawberry, or

 

Rocky Road. Sometimes, bets would

 

be taken on which flavors

 

would cause the most fights

 

to break out. Kirk didn't

 

care. As long as he

 

got to have regular vanilla

 

- offset with the occasional different

 

flavors that he remembered from

 

his young Lieutenant days when

 

he was so young and

 

inexperienced that whenever he found

 

a stray dog he would

use a transporter to duplicate

 

his favourite cone.
