Hm, I'd been curious about that before, but it looks too grisly for my tastes.

 

ABC Family has cancelled Ravenswood after a single 10-episode season.

 

I was trying to keep up with it after the Pilot and all but couldn't I like Nicole Gale Anderson & Tyler Blackburn...so hope they get on other shows and Tyler could get back on PLL. LOL.

 

I like what I'm seeing.

 

I didn't like it or dislike it. There's no imagery there that wasn't pretty generic and there wasn't anything to indicate the premise (and I forget what's been posted here). I don't have Showtime, so it will be a while before I get to see it. If I like the reviews, maybe I'll switch over after True Blood is done.

We have a local "Horror Host" named Penny Dreadful (based in the town where my Mother lives). I wonder how she feels about this. Maybe it's good publicity for her.

A Period Egyptian Piece, Cool. I always Fantasized about an SG1 Spinoff set in Ancient Egypt (And other parts in the same time) with the original Reign of The Go'a'uld on Earth and a team Rebelling against/thwarting them.

 

There seems to be a lot of historical shows lately, which is good. An ancient Egyptian show will be worth looking at. AMC also has a Revolutionary War show coming up that looks good.

For what they tried to be, I really enjoyed The Librarian TV movies. I'd certainly give a TV series a look.

Crap. For a second there I thought this was going to be based on Fallen Angels by Niven, Pournelle, and Flynn.

 

This is what I find funny about quasi religious dramatic programming... 70 percent of America believes that Angels are real and that they fight demons on a daily basis so all these shows like touched by an Angel or High way to heaven might as well be reality TV.

(In my head I am remembering Joel McHale going on about what Douche bags the Ghost Hunters from the reality show Ghost hunters are, or how stupid the contestants on the collect 10 million dollars in bounty if you find Bigfoot game show.)
