It was a beautiful clear, cold night with a full moon. I took my boys out to do some stargazing and to look at the moon through the telescope Ian got for christmas. Ian was so super excited, to see the moon so up-close. After doing that, we identified some constellations and just took in the spender that was a sky full of stars.

That's awesome! Love the Batman hat ... and a night with the kids, exposing them to science and nature ... very cool.

You kind of look like Mac from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.... only more buff.

Thanks, it was a great experience. I'm trying my hardest to expose my kids to the world of science and nature. Hoping that maybe one of them will be a scientist but if not, at least they will be well rounded individuals.

Now is a pretty good time to observe Jupiter and Saturn. Has your son seen them yet?

We were going to try and look at them last night but it was way to overcast. That's how it usually is, so we took a walk instead. The moon was rising during our walk and he was amazed to watch it go from just above the horizon to a quarter way up during our walk.

Speaking from firsthand experience, having access to a telescope when you're a little kid is a wondrous thing.

We're having the breaks done on our Honda Odyssey and the dealership provided a loaner to us. It has been a long time since I have driven a "car." It is so fast, compared to a minivan or SUV. It was fun to drive while I had it.

It's funny you say that. The Toyota Sienna we used to have(someone T-boned my wife sadly) could smoke the tires if you stomped on it. My buddy at work used to get so pissed that our van had as much HP as his v6 Mustang.

Pretty close to the real thing! Impressive. You're quite the talent.

We just got back from our Disney cruise this afternoon and I saw that my brother-in-law posted this picture of me from formal night. I was just trying to ham it up but it tunred out to be a semi-decent picture of me.

Matching light reflections in the irises/corneas. That's attention to detail.

I wish boredom always triggered that level of creativity and talent in human beings.

Very nice sketches. I'm very jealous, as I am artistically disabled; I have trouble making stick-figures.
