Oh, can I come too?? I lived in London for a year as well, a long time ago. I still miss it sometimes. @Zombie Seeker, I know what you mean! We just came back, and we're already talking about our next vacation. It will probably be in about 2 years (when we finish paying for this one!
We will have the GREATEST TIME EVER!! We'll saturate ourselves in Trek Con goodness and then when it's all over we'll pub crawl our way across London. We'll visit everything we missed or that they have built since we were last there. Can we go to Cardiff and do the Who tour?
OMG..you like The Who too? AWESOME! (...we didn't live in the same boarding house in 1990ish did we? I lived in a 3 level house comprised of about 15 people on working holidays...) Yes...it will be the GREATEST TIME EVER!!
Not The Who, Dr. Who! And no I lived in a squat and varying hostels. This time round we will live a bit better
My Bad! A Dr. Who tour will work too! Yeah, sharing a room with 2 to 3 others on a rotating basis is not something I want to do again...it will definitely be better this round!
That's a great picture. (If I were ever to find myself in a similar spot, though, you'd need a crowbar to break my grip on that ledge; I don't do well with edges of sharp drops.)
Not yet. Still in the works. I have a few things to touch up. But I will post them soon. I'll probably put a link in my signature.
I'm in Syracuse, NY looking at houses. I saw 18 houses today, my mind is a jumble of floor plans a d paint colors. I have about 12 more to look at tomorrow before heading back to Long Island for hurricane Sandy. However while up here in Syracuse I finally got to eat at the world famous Dinosaur BBQ resturants. The food was amazing and it was nicer then I was lead to believe.
Yeah, me too until I started coming up to Syracuse. When I told someone I was going up to Syracuse they would say, you have to eat at Dinosaur BBQ.
Thanks! I'm working on it! I went to England after university, but this was Hubby's and my first trip to Europe. We're hoping for many more!
Getting ready for Christmas. This is the first of the ornaments I'm working on that I've finished! It's actually a little big for an ornament, but I think my tree is big enough for it. It's called "Christmas with Jane Austen".
Are those poinsettias? (Wow, I've just found out that they are not called POINTSETTAS which is what I have been calling them for decades!!!)
