I think that is a great costume. She totally took what she had and used it. I guess her other option would be Dr. Frankenstein assistant. I know I know awful right. Still, it would work....
Dress as a drunk! All you need is to not shave for these last few days before Halloween, a paper bag, a bottle, and some wrinkled clothes for that disheveled look.
I used to look forward to Halloween, but not so much this year. For one thing, my family and I moved to a neighborhood where there aren't likely any trick-or-treaters. Also, since Halloween falls on a Friday, most people in our company building are actually celebrating on Thursday, the 30th, as a lot of people will be off on Friday, the 31st. I feel kinda silly dressing up when it's NOT the actual Halloween day; furthermore, I'd feel awkward being the only one to dress up in the office on Friday.
That whole series of threads out there, detailing "Worst Halloween Costume Ever" is pretty disturbing.
Man our grandparents and great-grandparents had us beat all to hell in the costume department. Talk about nightmare bait. http://www.flickr.com/photos/opiummuseum/sets/72157607495777601/show/with/2907268824/ http://www.wired.com/culture/art/multimedia/2008/10/gallery_old_halloween?slide=1&slideView=8 Well, except maybe for Mansquito riding a bike.
Talk about timing: the red vinyl belt I bought on ebay for my Danger Mouse costume just arrived today!
^ Hey, sweet! I can't wait to see your costume. I'll probably die from beholding such ravishing cuteness, but it'll be worth it!
Um, ew? Guess I'll embarrass myself and post a costume pic from 1993. Me in Trekkie chic, with my Mr. Spock teddy bear. I never realized how cross-eyed I look in some pictures...
We had our office Halloween party today (October 30). Tomorrow, I'll probably just wear one of my old Trek uniforms. Is there a doctor in the House? Dammit, Jim! I'm not a doctor; it's just a costume. Doctor and Nurse - Me and a Co-worker Mardi Gras Babe - Me and a Friend at Work
