I didn't get to go see the Enterprise, but I have been to Hogwarts! And for the girls: Check out m awesome shoppingness! I am the most proud of the jumper and the purse/bag. But the Harry Potter stuff was also quite nice. I got Lupin's wand! (Bushmills with Honey is nice btw! If you want to trick someone into liking whiskey it makes a nice introduction)
I'm totally jelly. So us guys can't marvel at your awesome scrounge? I was going to say how awesome that purse is, but forget it. Also, Lindor truffles. Yum.
I thought most men would get that "AAAAH! MY EYES!!!" As soon as shopping was mentioned. Of course you are welcome to wallow in the glory of the Trek purse and chocolates!
Shopping for certain items is permitted under the Code of Guys(tm). Beer, for instance. Also bacon. And certain T-shirts.
My city in the evening, not long after sunset. I didn't take this photo myself, but a few of our local community webpages have some terrific professionally-shot pictures of the city and they're worth sharing.
Plus: It's not just about those items: If the "man-chair" (near the women's dressing rooms) comes with a TV and service (but not with a only one beer per customer-policy), you women are allowed to take us shopping in that store any time!
I think there should be such a chair for women aswell. I hate shopping with most people. I usually buy stuff without trying it on because I am always in a hurry.. But when I go shopping with some people they can stay in the same shop for 30 minutes.. just to browse.. I only do that in bookstores or dvd/cd stores. Or.. cake places.. At least I would do it in cake places if it was allowed. My girlishness pops out when I see souvenir shops though. And petshops.. I love petshops.. I am very girly about shopping, i'm just not that interested in clothes or shoes. Beer and a chair would be amazing when shopping with shoelovers.. If i got drunk enough I might even forget to lecture everyne about how bad high heels are for you.
I don't have a "Code of Guys". I have the Book of Gentlemen, and it allows me to shop for fantastic tailored suits.
NEX-5N, 18-55mm lens. I was a couple feet away. He had flown into a window or something and was a bit stunned. He flew away after a few minutes.
If anyone visits London and Kensington Gardens, there's a narrow walk where, with a bit of patience and bird seed, you can coax sparrows, tits and robins to flit down and eat from your hand. Quite something. I should try and get a photo sometime.
Countdown to first obvious, in-poor-taste joke...in 5, 4, 3... Damn, she's a beautiful kid--obviously a natural in front of the camera. She'll probably also be wearing a red dress when she gets her first Oscar.
