    Besides Spock (as I think Spock is the best answer), which new Trek character looks the most like their original counterpart?

    Also, how do you think original Kirk and new Kirk would interact?

    There's a recent thread HERE about how the character's personalities compare to the originals.

    As for who looks the most like their TOS counterpart - that would be the Tribble, of course!

    Yeah, I forgot about the stupid Tribble. But I'm thinking more about the sentient characters.

    Perhaps McCoy, although I think that's more to do with Karl Urban's McCoy mannerisms than physical resemblance. And they're feeding him a lot better in this timeline.

    Urban looks similar to Kelley. That's about it.

    Kirk and Kirk would pick up twice as many women.

    Please don't do that.

    If an opening post receives zero replies in two months' time, it probably wasn't a very good topic in the first place. Rather than bumping it up to the top with an empty exhortation, perhaps you ought to have instead tried thinking of a new topic - one likely to generate more discussion than this one has.
