    Isn't replicated food look suspiciously similar to soylent green? So it must taste like high energy plankton. Which tastes suspiciously like human. I guess.

    I haven't really read much of the thread, but I'd assume that everything alien tastes like chicken.

    It's always like that in TV, movies, cartoons, games, books and comics.

    I imagine Batter-Fried Klingon Squid tastes alot like Batter-Fried Korean Squid, simply because that's what producers used on the set. Go Riker!

    Oh, and I imagine Owon Eggs taste like ass.

    I always wondered why the food shown in TOS was always that weird pastiche of colored blocks and stuff like that. Couldn't they take 10 minutes to whip up some real food? :p

    Oh well. I have a hankering for Cardassian food, it seems:

    In the first season on ENT, they're constantly eating and/or drinking something. What's up with that? Watching these shows make me quite hungry. No wonder I've gained 15 pounds over the summer. I blame ENT. :p
