The new Post Your Desktop thread

I'm gonna re-read 2001: A Space Odyssey, I haven't read it in over 20 years. So I decided to make Jupiter my Desktop pic. Yeah I know it's Saturn in the book, but I prefer the use of Jupiter in the movie.

Ahhhh, the Air Crane Helitanker. When I was first stationed at Eielson AFB in March of 1987 the Fairbanks area was having huge amount of forest fires. We actually thought we would have to evacuate the base, but I got to see these in action.

You can see why it's always hard for me to choose best pony. I mean, hell, this is my Win 7 login screen:

 

I haven't been able to decide on a wallpaper for my desktop that I like, so I've stuck with the basic MacBook Pro galaxy template that was already on my laptop when I bought it.

My iPad is a different story. Finally settled on these two images for my lock screen and wallpaper. It's just slightly subtle.
