Don't think I posted this in this thread, but some of you may remember drunkl cat from a few years ago.

    ^

More pictures of Junior. He refuses to stay still for the camera; he's more interested in trying to eat it, so most of my pictures are either blurred or a close-up of his nose.

If you and your gf gave her a good life that is what matters.

    Entertaining humans is hard work!

Thanks! We knew right away what to name them when we saw two twin brothers with yellow eyes at the rescue shelter. Had we not gotten them, one of the employees was going to adopt Data and we couldn't bear to let them be separated. They're very clearly brothers and are quite inseparable, as you can see. :)

Diaper kitty has, since day one, pretty much slept on my wife's neck or face. (Unfortunately this is NOT a flattering pic of my wife, who would probably kill me for this.) Banshee will sleep on me too, but I have to move her before very long since I'll start itching due to my slight allergy. Sneezy (the tuxedo cat looking on) is rather miffed at this, since she's pretty much always slept on top of my wife, but usually on her side/back/chest. Sneezy's also older and rather cranky these days...

Of course when Diaper Kitty can't find one of us to sleep next to, she has a substitute:

I think she would sleep next to her best buddy Phantom if she could, but neither of us has figured out where he sleeps yet, or even IF he sleeps! He's rather active and gets into, well, everything. Found him yesterday stuck hanging from the chain to the ceiling fan by one claw. :wtf: He and our 4 year old son have pretty much the same personality, just in different bodies.

Oh, and we think there may be hope for Banshee to be out of the diaper someday. After I took off her diaper yesterday, she went to the litter pan and squatted for a minute. Nothing happened, but shortly thereafter I had to clean off some "Klingons". So we think she knows when she has to go, but doesn't have the muscle control yet.

Diaper Kitty does seem to be adjusting just fine to her little diapered kitty life.

LOL, that petting chart SOOOOO does not apply to one of my cats. She's kind of "nope" about her belly, but pretty much ANYTHING else has her begging for even more attention.

^Same with our cat. She even loves it when I grab her muzzle, pull her around with her legs, and all that.

Some cats, including one of the ones I have now, love a gentle belly-scratching.

But Life with/out a Cat is right on target.

A friend has a cat that'll fall flat on her back at anyone to have them rub her belly.

I think it's because she's too fat and lazy to jump up on a chair to attract attention and then has learned that people will bend over all the way to reach her lying on the floor :rommie:

No seriously; my friends cat is fat... but it's an outdoor cat during summer and an indoor cat in winter so I'm hoping it's just a winter thing. Anyone here have experience (or advice) with this sort of thing?

Yeah...actually, most cats I've owned have liked their bellies rubbed. The other cat, though she only really allows me to pet her when she's in my lap, will let me rub her belly during that time too.

That's awesome. It would have been horrible to separate them.

That's great. Hopefully she won't be Diaper Kitty for long!

Reminds me of the Welsh "damn good cat" test.
